Help Bring Digital Art to Life at the Creative Workshop – You did it!
By reaching the original $10,000 goal, you’ve made it possible for students of all ages to express their creativity through digital art—learning animation, comic creation, and design with the latest technology. With your support, the Creative Workshop will bring this vision to life.
You can help continue to make projects like this come to life in the future by donating today to the Louis D’Amanda III Endowment Fund. By helping to grow this fund, the Creative Workshop will have more funds to draw from each year, enabling it to expand programming and provide enhanced hands-on educational experiences.
Inspired by Louis’s Legacy
When their son Louis passed away in 2015, the D’Amanda family—Kathy and John D’Amanda and their children James and Allie, and Louis’s young wife Celeste,—wanted to do something meaningful in his memory. They created an endowment in his name to connect young people to art and continue the creative spirit that defined Louis’s life.
Their family’s connection to the Memorial Art Gallery runs deep. Generations have taken classes at the MAG Creative Workshop, and Louis himself interned here. While living with cancer, he never stopped creating—exploring every medium with imagination and determination.
This campaign continues that legacy by raising funds for the Louis D’Amanda III Endowment Fund Fund in the hopes of giving every child the same chance to explore, experiment, and create in new ways. Your support will make it possible.
Join the Family’s Vision
Together, we can carry forward Louis’s spirit and give more young artists the chance to discover the joy of creative expression. Your gift—of any size—helps bring digital art education to life at the Memorial Art Gallery Creative Workshop.
