Your gift makes history

For the first time in club history, the University of Rochester’s Fencing Club has qualified for Collegiate Nationals with a full men’s and women’s team (each with an epee, foil, and sabre squad). This is an incredible opportunity for our members to showcase all their skills as well as learn and grow as fencers and individuals.

Unfortunately, the cost of transportation, gear, hotels, memberships, and additional fees add up quickly. Our club strives to make fencing accessible to everyone, which includes supplying equipment, covering tournament expenses, and providing free lessons from experienced coaches. Any and all donations help us to support our fencers as they train for and compete at Collegiate Nationals.

Keeping us on the strip

• $15 covers the cost of gas for one fencer
• $50 provides one fencer with a blade
• $100 pays for one fencer's tournament entrance fee
• $200 pays for one rental van for the weekend
• $900 provides every fencer with hotel accommodations for one night
• $1,800 covers the tournament entrance fee for the entire team

Any further donations helps to pay for a safe hotel to stay at while traveling for weekend long tournaments.
